Dear Peninsula Members,
Our summer season starts on January 29.
But if you are keen to come try softball or have a go, MWSA has arranged three weekends of fun events in December - suitable for everyone.
You can register as an individual, or get your team-mates together and put in a whole team. There are come try events for beginners, skills clinics for Juniors, and softball games for Juniors and Seniors. You can choose the dates and events you'd like to attend.

You can fill in the form multiple times if you have more than one softball player in the house.
Dates: Wednesday, December 1, and Saturdays - December 4, December 11, and December 18
For All Beginners and non-registered players of all ages:
Come and Try - on Wednesday, December 1 from 4:30-6:00, and on Saturday, December 4 from 10 - 12 pm.

For Registered Juniors:
Dec 4 - Intro to Pitching and Catching - Modballers (open to any U12s players) 10.30 - 12 pm
- Intro to Umpiring - players coming up from Modball 10.30 - 12 pm
Dec 11 and Dec 18 - Teeball and Modball - arrive 8.30. Come in teams or can be placed in teams. Games from 9 til 10 am
- Softball Juniors - 10.30 to 11.30 - Skills session - Open to any juniors

For Registered Seniors/Women's Grades: All games 1 pm - 3.30 pm (dependent on team numbers)
Dec 4 - normal rules.
Dec 11 - 1st innings - a runner starts on 2.
2nd innings runners start on 2 and 3.
3rd plus innings start with loaded. Other rules stay the same.
Dec 18 - Reverse Softball. Play clockwise - 3rd base becomes 1st - etc. Rules stay the same.
Then everyone converges on D1 for Christmas drinks and a Home Run Derby.

Please also see the information below for some more details. Most importantly, please note that All players/officials and spectators over 16 must be fully vaccinated. Official documentation needs to be shown on the day. And all players need to be registered with the club for insurance purposes.

All players/officials and spectators over 16 must be fully vaccinated. Official documentation needs to be shown on the day. Single or non-vaxed people will not be able to attend.
All players need to be registered with your club. (Insurance purposes).
Either existing teams or players of similar ability can be submitted to play.
Juniors will play in the mornings and seniors will play in the afternoons.
A copy of the draw will be published by Dec 1.
All games, conditions etc are dependent on team numbers and submitted grades
