The U14 State Championship is almost upon us now, scheduled for Dec. 12-13 at Southern Districts Softball Grounds.
There are five players from Peninsula representing MWSA, including Alice Campbell, Andi Lau, Minty Tetz, Carys Thomas-McDonnell, and Talea Tonga, and the team will be managed by Peninsula player, coach, and manager, Kellie Cohen. You can read more about the girls here.
The MWSA team will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of the other age groups who have all played in the last few weeks and done very well. The U12s and Opens both finished State Champions, while the U16s and U10s finished runners-up.
In addition, three other Peninsula Dev players will also play at the State Championships as they have been picked up by other Associations.
These include Abi Rowe and Lauren Allison, who will join home team Southern Districts, while Roxy Armiger has been picked to play in a special Invitational team put together by Softball NSW in recognition of her hard work in the face of cancelled warm-up tournaments.
Good luck to all the girls this coming weekend!
