Are You Ready for Softball?

Red Stitches Early Bird Registration Prize-Winner Piper Lovett from the Peninsula Parrots

Only a few days to go before the start of our summer softball season on Saturday October 8! The draw will soon be out and we'll be in touch with information about jerseys, new player kits, the draw, etc.

At this stage, everyone has been placed on a team, or teams if dual-registered, and most of you should now have heard from your manager or coach - or will soon be contacted (there are a few people away during the school holidays).

Please also note that if you have a friend or relative who is keen to play, there is still time to get on the diamonds. We can find teams for players of all ages and abilities, including absolute beginners, so parents especially do think about having a go yourself. Just email us for details. And, if you refer a friend who signs up for softball, you'll get some cash back from your rego....

For now, we thought we would send out some important Peninsula policies, including a list of roles and responsibilities that includes information for parents and players. Please read this over carefully and let us know if you have any questions: https://cdn.revolutionise.com.au/cups/peninsulasoftball/files/gnji1e9uwnwxtvck.pdf as well as a code of conduct for parents and spectators: https://cdn.revolutionise.com.au/cups/peninsulasoftball/files/mana4mljhe5brtxd.pdf A full list of Peninsula policies can be found on our website, which will be updated shortly: https://www.peninsulasoftball.com.au/

You can also find a list of our committee members and responsibilities on our website at https://www.peninsulasoftball.com.au/our-volunteers If you need to contact any of us, please just use our peninsulasoftballclub@gmail.com address (or simply reply to this email) and we will get your message to the right person.

Please do bookmark this post in case you need to consult anything during the season, and do remember to make sure our Peninsula emails are not caught in your spam filters - as email will be our pimary form of communication between the Club and Members, and along with our social media, will be where we send important announcements like changes in the draw, or rain delays/cancellations.

Finally, congratulations to Piper Lovett and Meredyth Irvine, the two winners of our Red Stitches Early Bird Registration prize. They have now received a $50 voucher each to spend at Red Stitches. Thank you Red Stitches!

Looking forward to seeing you all on the diamonds shortly. And don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or concerns.

Thanks,

Peninsula Softball
